World-Civics-13th Seminar

World:  Tomorrow you have QUIZ II (50 pts) that covers the material to date.  Be sure to concentrate on:

 Today we focused on the proverbs and their significance on various cultures.

Be sure to arrive to class on Tuesday with a Pencil.  The quiz with be both an objective and short answer format.

Civics: We needed to back up a little today, so the We the People Reading has been placed on the back burner until Tomorrow or Wednesday.  Reminder... Quiz II is on Friday.  Be sure to assemble your artifacts; Cornell Notes.

In class we concentrated on Federalists v. Anti-Federalists, the weaknesses related to the Articles of Confederation and the convention process itself.  We will continue with process tomorrow.  This evening you are to complete the BRIEF summation of some of the happenings that inspired the
D of I.  Try to make the connection related to their significance and the constitution itself. 
We will continue tomorrow in class, please review the reading in chapter 3.4-3.6.  Our plan is to evaluate the arguments of the Federalists related to ratification of the Constitution.  Please don't forget about the significance of the Bill of Rights.

13 Seminar:  U of M Dearborn was here for a college visit and to administer on site admissions.  During the second portion of the class, we focused on planning for the November 8 teach-in.  Time is fleeting.  All input and organizers are needed.
