Civics: We revisited the concepts of Independence to gain a deeper understanding of the Constitutional Convention and compromise. We also began in class a reading on Federalist paper 51. (Classroom pick up) It's is about division or powers and separation of powers. We will quickly debrief for understanding tomorrow before we move on to the Bill of Rights.
For Homework: Read 4.3 & 4.4 on the Bill of Rights. Complete the Read to Learn handouts but skip the very last page on related to doing symbols. Use the simplified constitution handouts if you wish to supplement your understanding with a streamlined version. (those absent pick up in the classroom).
Reminder: There is a Quiz covering the material to day on Friday.
12th Focus: Career presentation work today in the lab. Presentation needs to be ready to go on Thursday. Interest packets were collected today for credit.
