Civics: Welcome back and Happy New Year1. Today in Civics we went over the Constitution Quiz, its already posted on power school. We also finished up the Founding Rivalries Reading to get a handle on the nature of the framers of the Constitution. I divided up the questions so complete your assigned questions and be prepared to report out to the class related to the content of the reading. Once we debrief tomorrow, we will begin the process of learning Judicial Review and case analysis using the material provided in the text 4.5.
Focus: Today you received a GLOGSTER EDU account. You were able to explore how to use glogster. Once you spend more time with the application, you will find it very helpful for your classes. Next week's post, your 4th, will be a GLOGSTER post. Begin thinking about what you want to cover. Those of you who DO NOT HAVE 3 BLOG posts at this time, need to get caught up.
World: Today we took some time to go over the Africa Quiz, then I introduced material related to the Mongols. Begin work on the text reading and Cornell Notes for the Mongols, chapter 12 (2) & (3). A copy of the Cornell Notes have been posted on the website. The Cornell notes are due on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9. (both sections)
