Civics-Focus-Seminar-World

Civics:  You received credit for Cornell 5.1-5.3. We will begin to go over that info tomorrow because we ran out of time today. In class we recapped precedent and focused on the application of the additional cases. As you can see, "What TIME it is" and "WHERE" an event is, as well as "HOW" of an activity may impact the decision of the court. This is application and application needs precedent, a law (statute), or the Constitution to formulate reasoning.  We listed two reports, one about executive privilege related to the Obama appointments of Sec. of Defense, and Sec. of State, and the other about gun control... the by back program in Arizona.

For tomorrow, read and ANNOTATE using F-IRAC the constitutional law cases I distributed at the end of the class.

Focus: Glogster is due tomorrow

Seminar: Today we did a team building - Trust walk . Portfolios were due on Monday.  CPR training Friday in C MEZZ.

World: We continued with the Mongols. Cornell Notes were credited and we discussed  their content while debriefing what we already know about the Mongols.  Exit slips were returned with a comment and we began our focus on whether or not the Mongols have been getting a bad rap...  Respond to the two questions for tomorrow.
