Civics: Gun rights v. Control. Our focus today was on gun violence in schools in the context of the timeline handout and what you found from your research related to school shootings between 12-4-13 to present. We discussed the issues and arguments related to gun control and spent a significant time thinking and talking about health care and the lack of mental health support. More on this tomorrow.
This evening, read the material I provided on security in schools. Should your teachers be armed? The reading is not elecronic so if you were out today, pick it up when you return.
