World: Our focus today was Caste v.Class. We moved through the handout via discussion and you made vivid comparisons related to caste and class. On Friday there is a quiz on fall of empire thru caste. (usual format) Be sure to use time after school to organize your materials and begin studying. You need to focus on the fall of empire reading in chapter 6.3 (Rome), 7.3 (Han) and 7.1 (Gupta), and 3.1 & 3.2 related to caste. You can use your Cornell notes/Venn diagrams or other notes you took on the quiz. Be sure to assemble the Reasons for the fall of empire in the context of all topics. (Han, Rome, Gupta)
We will finish up caste tomorrow and make sure you feel ready for Friday's quiz.
