World: Today students completed Quiz III (Fall of Empire-Caste). If you were absent, plan to make up the quiz tomorrow unless you have arranged something different. Quizzes will be returned by the end of the week. Power School is up to date minus today's quiz.
Civics: In class we continued with the electoral college. You received credit for your 10.4 homework/some of you owe note taking. We debriefed the key ideas from the reading and analyzed some issues related to the origins of the electoral college. Due tomorrow, read the remainder of the two readings we began together on Monday related to the problems and reforms of the electoral college. We are slowly gaining information to organize into arguments for debate. Please come to class with the material read and a bulleted list of the information related to problems and reform.
12th Focus: In class work on presentation prep from Success Principles, 3 presentations. Try to reflect upon the issues/content represented in the presentations. Remainder of presentations will be heard on Thursday.
