Civics: Today you worked on storyboards for your commercial. We will begin making your commercials in class tomorrow. This evening try to catch the 2nd debate if you have time. More important, please finish viewing the first presidential debate on your own. We are just running out of time. We will debrief the issues together in class. Be sure to adhere to your schedule for the commercial. Come to class prepared and read to go.
Focus: Today was the fieldtrip to the Franklin Cider Mill. We learned a little history about the village and ventured out to have a look at this contemporary village. I took some photos. I wil link them to the website for use in this week's blog. Our STRAND Rotation this week is to Mrs. Maddalena.
There you will focus on community. You will be missed. More information in class on the rotation will follow.
World: Today we finally debriefed the "hard" philosophy questions and began work on the proverbs. Great discussion! I Loved the participation! We will finish up the proverbs and I will provide credit tomorrow. We are almost ready to move to the next phase of this material. Be sure to review the DR. Ease analysis you have done (I know I have Confucianism and Daoism). We will continue tomorrow.
13th Seminar: Today we discussed college fair opportunities and scholarships that are out there for you to access. Some of you need to get going with your applications. Today we covered material related to mentoring and will continue to do so until we are finished. On Wednesday, in addition to mentoring information, you will be provided with your portfolio requirements. Those of you who are on time and consistent, great job!
