World-Economics-13th Seminar

World: For those who were absent or missed the Amistad Clip, here's the link.  Amistad Clip. Today in class we focused on African Slavery... this is very different from the Transatlantic Slave trade.  Be sure you consult your guided notes for the differences.  You viewed a segment from Wonders of Africa, a Louis Gates documentary on the Slave Kingdoms. Be sure you complete the viewing guide.  Due tomorrow, Cornell Notes, 20.3. The reading is on slavery.  After we debrief the African slave trade, we will move on to Modern Slavery.

Economics: Due tomorrow is the Globalization handout/reading and the material in 13 related to employment/unemployment.  In class we began viewing Walmart... Whether or not it's good for America. Walmart.  The viewing guide needs to be completed so that we can debrief tomorrow.  This fits into globalization.. a byproduct.  More tomorrow. Be sure to come to class prepared.

13th Seminar:  Capstones continue today. Be sure  to submit the portfolio to Mrs. Sturt , (those of you who need to do so), also, graduation fees are due to Mrs, Sturt now!  Finally Memmca surveys must be completed at this time.  Please do that too!
