Civics: We finished going over the quiz today and you submitted quiz corrections. All grades have been posted on power school for your enjoyment. You should be reading and completing the Read to Learn for 4.2-4.4. Its' due on Thursday. We began in class an experiment related to common good. Respond to questions one and two of the experiment. We will continue with that in class tomorrow.
Focus: Today you commented on your classmates blogs. You should have posted at least 3 comments. You are also working on research for your second post. It's due next Thursday. I will read and comment on your first post in the next couple of days. Keep up the good work and try to stretch your thinking while thinking out of the box.
World: Your quiz grades are posted. Check power school for your enjoyment. In class we focused on Africa and Islam spread there. We finished up the intro reading and zoomed in on the big questions related to same. We also received and viewed a power point so we could visualize the big ideas. We're not finished with the ppt but will continue tomorrow. You should be completing the reading and Cornell Notes for 15.1 & 15.2. They are due on Thursday. Also, the ppt is posted on line. Be sure you have a good handle on the introductory information because it provides you context. More tomorrow.
