Civics, Focus, World

Civics: Today we finished up our analysis of the D of I.  We also decided that we could take a quiz on the material covered in Ch. 2 and 3 on Friday. I provided you with an informative assessment for Ch. 2 section 2.1-2.3, but be sure to add to it your knowledge of government systems and economic systems.  Since we are currently covering ch. 3, you need to focus on that material as well. The key concepts set forth during our Locke journey are the concepts we aer rel voling around: Equality, Unalienable Rights, Consent of the Governed, Natural Rights, State of Nature, Treatise.  Zoom in on the D of I.  Tomorrow your Cornell notes for 3.4-3.6 are due.  We will cover the material there tomorrow and Thursday.  Our quiz on Friday will be objective and short answer.  Should you need assistance, please see me.

Focus: Your blog page should not be created and your address submitted. If it's not, please do so asap.  By tomorrow  you should begin researching your first topic.

World: Today we continued with caste v.class.  I showed a few clips from Youtube and we debriefed the charts you worked on last evening.  Students also completed an exit slip:  "Why do all classes appreciate and participate the caste system?

For tomorrow, you are to read and complete Jati (part II).  We will continue in class with caste, culture and marriage tomorrow.

World History Quiz on Friday, that covers, Rome, Han, Gupta, (empires), thru caste.
A general study guide will be provided tomorrow.  The quiz will be short answer and objective, much like in past,
