Civics: Today we completed our discussion of the citizenship material. You chose ten questions related to the citizenship test and acted as an immigration official by questioning a partner. We wrapped up the conversation and experience by discussing whether or not naturalized citizens are better prepared to serve the country as a result of the test. In addition, we discussed whether or not current citizens should have to take such a test and be required to do so on a periodic basis, say 5 years. You received an assignment to create a citizenship flier. I will post the assignment on the website.
