World-Civics

World:  Today we debriefed Mulan and discussed the comparisons, similarities and differences.  The Mulan handout was collected.  During the second portion of the class, you were given a short reading to annotate in a small group. The reading highlighted some unconventional ideas about women and certainly clash with Confucian principles.  We will finish the conversation tomorrow.

You received a Cornell Notes for the Fall of Rome.  Be sure to have that completed for Friday.  Do the Cornell in the same context that you did for Han.  Look for the "reasons" and add evidence.

Tomorrow we will continue exploring Women of China and their traditions.

Civics: Work day for Constitutional Convention.  Rough draft of Individual speech due today.  I read them and provided feedback. Due tomorrow, final draft of speech.  Also, you should be finalizing  your convention talking points and you team's questions.  More tomorrow.
