Economics: In class today we went over the last quiz, revisited economic systems for a recap and assigned a short term homework for tomorrow (Page 56, skillbuilder on economic systems. It is a comparison contrast of economic systems for review using North Korea. There are 3 questions that go along with the skill builder, and a Venn Diagram. Please complete all for credit tomorrow.
Be prepared to hand in the economic systems activity we completed the day before break tomorrow for credit.
Also distributed was a Cornell Note Document for 4.1. We will begin The Law Of Demand tomorrow. Chapter 4 is about Demand.
Reminder, I will be out on Wednesday and Friday this week. Mrs. Iden will be in attendance. Our focus for the week is on The Law of Demand.
Focus: Today all students received Glogster Edu Accounts and began preparing for the 3rd blog post which will be in the form of a GLOGSTER. You can either link the glogster to your blog or you can post the Glogster to your blog. Fun Stuff!
Seminar: Today's focus was "If at first you don't succeed; try, try again." We did an activity related to success. Capstones begin on Friday. Wednesday will be a capstone work day in school during class. Please have all materials assessable.
World History: We finished up the Explorations activity that we began prior to break, and recapped our understanding of the explorations. Reflecting upon the Enlightenment, together we read a short article on the "Vatican Spring".
Finally, we discussed that for this evening, you are to go through your materials beginning with the Scientific Revolution, continuing with the Enlightenment and then to Explorations in order to create a bulleted review of the content covered.
THERE IS A WORLD HISTORY TEST ON THURSDAY. On Wednesday in class, you will complete and informative assessment to help you prepare. Until then, we will spend time going back to revisit the key concepts on the material covered.
