World: Good recap with the Medieval material as shown in a Venn diagram which compared Greece/Rome, Middle Ages, and the USA. We are beginning to zoom into the Black Death and will spend the next couple class periods there before we explore how Europe recovers. Currently, we are focusing on calamity. Due Wednesday, Cornell 14.4. Continue to read and review.
Economics: At the start of class we began with the definition of Economics we began learning on Friday. Good discussion! We revisited economic reasoning and you appear to have a solid understanding of those concepts as applied to the "definition" and the material from 1.1. We highlighted what you learned from the reading in 1.1 and will continue to build with the concepts from 1.2. Due Wednesday, Cornell 1.2. Due Tomorrow (Tuesday), the Opportunity Cost problem. Be sure to read 1.2 and review 1.1.
