Economics: We finished up business organizations today. Be sure you complete the reading in 8.1-8.3. Those who complete graphic organizers for that material will receive extra credit. You received your graded tests and we went over them as a class. Tomorrow we will roll out the Budget project.
Focus: All blog addresses have been shared and uploaded to the website. Some began research and some even began blogging. Tomorrow you will be given time to work on your first blog post which is due next week. (Thursday)
Seminar: Capstones continued today. Please watch your time for the project and please put your phones away during the presentation. Your actions are very rude and insensitive.
World:
Today we discussed why Japan is an example of a NON EMPIRE. Reflect on
the reasons. We discussed the BIG IDEAS that you could take away from
the gunpowder jigsaw. REFLECT!
Review all materials and prepare so that you are successful on tomorrow's assessment.

(various pages.. see chart activity. Military technology advantages and
disadvantages chart. All background readings (power shifts) and other.
Be sure to review material and debriefs from GGS and to reflect on the
Amistad clip. There is a good amount of material. Be sure to begin your
prep now. Review power points on slavery (posted).
