Economics: Today the BUDGET project was DUE.  We had a round table discussion related to the project. I will score them and return them to you next week.  Those absent... I'm disappointed. You cannot begin a pattern of avoidance just because you have chosen not to do what is necessary.  Your project will be graded as late due to your absence.  Those absent should have made the decision to have the project dropped off if it was completed.  Since no projects have been delivered, it's my understanding that they are incomplete.  Your absence made me sad today.

We will begin Monetary and Fiscal policy on Monday and finish up on Tuesday.  I will provide a study guide for the "anything goes" quiz scheduled during finals on Wednesday, June 12.  You will need to return your textbook at that time.

World:  Final Presentations began today and will continue on Monday and Tuesday. Be sure you answer the KEY questions during your presentation, those questions are included on the project identification and rubric.  Remember, attendance counts!  Everyone in the class deserves an attentive audience.

You have received a study guide for the FINAL QUIZ.  It's an anything goes quiz, so all materials are fair game.  Please plan to turn in your text book next week.  The last day to turn it in is on Friday morning.

Remember, you are getting docked points for not attending peer presentations.... That's just a poor choice not be present for each other.  You are expected to hear others present, just as they are expected to hear YOU present.  Your absence made me sad today.

Those absent today may be pushed to present on TUESDAY during office hours.  Two people could not present due to time restriction.  Please be prepared for Monday, but know that you MAY present on TUESDAY during the extended office hour.

Focus: Glogster presentations continue.  Last BLOG post is your reflection...In the context of YOU socially and academically:  Where have you come from?-- Where are you NOW?-- Where are you going?

World: Our focus today was on the Modern Era & Industrialization:  We looked at a lot of data related to population growth and migration.  Can you explain WHY the trends were as they were? We will continue tomorrow and wrap up the best we can.

Economics: We finished up employment.... and introduced the stock market game, albeit, there needs to be more instruction, so we will pick up with that tomorrow and go to the lab at some point.  In the meantime... read what you can related to the game.  The website explains a lot.  Any activity you have with the game will be considered extra credit.

Continue to work on your project..it's due on Friday.

Focus: Glogsters were presented today, more tomorrow.   Please finish and post.

World:  Industrialization continues... we debriefed some of the consequences questions but further discussion is needed.  Remember, focus on the context of industrialization and use its various lenses to view the consequences.  A reminder, imperialism is a consequence to industrialization.

Sign-up for project presentations were today.  All have a slot. Be sure to arrive to class on time on Friday so everyone can present.  Please be prepared to share your technology medium with me asap.
