World-Economics
World: We finished and discussed Toussaint Louveture and the Haitian Revolution. You received a reading related to the Modern World from "This Fleeting World" Read the material given, it will help you with the finishing touches on your Coke Project. We will debrief the reading and zoom in on Imperialism and Industrialization on Monday. We have one Coke presentation on Monday.
Final Project is due on Tuesday, June 10. 1/2 of class will present on Tuesday, be sure you arrive prepared. You will do great!
Economics: Today we continued with Income inequality and food. We will need time to debrief a place at the table and to discuss income inequality and education.
Budget project is due on Monday.. No acceptations or excuses. Be sure all aspects of the assignment and requirements are met for full credit.

World-Economics-12th Focus
World: Toussaint Louveture Today. We will finish up tomorrow, Journal Note taking document will earn credit. In addition, I also provided some overview reading related to industrialization and Imperialism. While there are activities/questions built into the handouts, you are not responsible for answering the questions. The handouts are simply informational, for use related to the Coke Project. We will however, cover the topics in class so that we can bring the content to "the floor" for discussion.

World: French Revolution continued. There was a recap, a short History Teachers Song, and an analysis of the The D of the Rights of Man and Citizen. Toward the end of the class, you took on the role of one group in the Revolution to process the events from different perspectives.
Work on Final Project, it's due one week from today.
Economics: Food Tour today at Plum. Bring your info sheets tomorrow. We will use them for debriefing as well as the Food, Inc material. If time, we will begin income inequality and food.

World: We began covering the French Revolution today. As you consider our study of revolution, be sure to think about causes, purpose, and importance. We dealt with an introduction today, tomorrow we will cover the Dec of The Rights of Man, and the D of Rights of Women. From there we will zoom in onto Haiti.
Economics: You received essential forms for the budget project today. They regard order, a final budget sheet and a rubric. Be sure to adhere to the food requirements, 3 balanced meals for one week... and to all the other requirements. Do not take short cuts. Project is due on Friday.
Field trip to Plum tomorrow. Meet at the class room at 10:00 so we can depart.

World, Economics, 12th Focus
World: We debriefed the declaration fully today. Nice job working with your "clock" partners. On Monday we will cover the French Revolution.... Fervor. You should be working on your final project. It's due on June 9, 2014 (Monday) Take the time to get your project in order. Remember, it's your final exam.
Economics: We continued with food today Looked at the Fries reading and discussed as well as natural and artificial flavoring. Labeling was a topic too. Field trip forms need to be turned in on Monday. We go to Plum on Tuesday. We will leave at 10:00, meet at the classroom.

World-Economics-12th Focus
World: In class we "danced" around the Declaration of Independence and found our way through interpreting the meaning... and it's pretty clear what the colonists were fed up with when you really think about the meaning behind the words. Tomorrow we will continue with wrapping up the D of I and move on to the French. Be sure to work on you Final Project. It's due next Friday.
Economics: Today we finished Food, Inc. We will debrief tomorrow, please have your journal completed. In addition, you received a permission slip today for our Plum Market experience. Please return the permission slip tomorrow. Our trip is during class on Tuesday, June 3.
